Group therapy at Groundwork Therapy will provide you the opportunity to explore personal issues, develop greater awareness of your feelings and behaviors, and receive support from peers, in a safe and confidential environment.
Groups generally consist of four to eight members and one therapist. Group therapy sessions are 75 minutes in length and meet on a weekly basis.
Due to health safety concerns, all groups are currently being held virtually through a video platform.

Understanding Self and Others | Tuesdays at 7PM
This group provides an unstructured, supportive space for members to discuss any areas of their lives that they are looking to learn more about, grow in, or heal from. Through connecting and sharing, members are encouraged to explore “in the moment” thoughts, feelings, and reactions as a way to deepen self-awareness and understanding of their interpersonal dynamics. This “here and now” focus also allows members to experiment with new ways of relating and interacting as an opportunity to challenge long-held beliefs about who they are, what is expected of them in relationships, and how they are seen by others.

Expressive Arts Therapy Group | Mondays at 6PM
In this group you will learn to channel your feelings through the art that you create during the therapy sessions. Creative projects are used as catalysts for discussion and connection with the other group members. This group is a great fit for professional artists and inexperienced artists alike.
